Pakistan’s political tensions have intensified over governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi challenging opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai over allegations surrounding Form 47.

During the parliamentary debate, Naqvi questioned whether Achakzai could swear that he had not been elected through the same controversial form.

The remarks came as opposition parties protested the imposition of emergency and governor’s rule in KP, while the federal government defended its decision on security grounds.
