Pakistan has announced a special petrol relief scheme for low-income vehicle users.
Motorcycles, rickshaws, Qingqis and vehicles up to 800cc will receive Rs100 per litre relief under the scheme.
Meanwhile, Punjab has imposed Section 144 across the province until September 17 amid security threats.
Public gatherings, processions and assemblies of five or more people have been restricted.
The government is also highlighting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of a developed and welfare-oriented Pakistan.
