Pakistan’s political crisis has reached a crucial stage as PTI and the government continue negotiations ahead of the October 4 march.
The second round of talks continued into Saturday night, with the planned march remaining a major point of disagreement.
KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has remained committed to the October 4 long march, despite the ongoing dialogue.
Meanwhile, the Corps Commanders’ Conference warned that any attempt to create a “May 9-like situation” would be dealt with decisively.
The government has also discussed emergency or Governor’s Rule options in KP if the political standoff continues.
Will talks succeed, or will the October 4 march go ahead?
